Installing the new batteries was no problem, although the fastening eyelet (original Velux battery) was missing. The radio control did not have to be re-learnt. The batteries have slightly less capacity, but you don't notice it. If they last another 18 years - like the originals - I would be very satisfied:)

The order, delivery, quality and price were 100% right. Hopefully also the service life. The battery alone is not available from VELUX. I was offered a complete package of solar cell and complete switch unit with battery pack for several times the price of a battery unit) In any case, the roller shutter worked immediately after fitting the batteries. Small adaptations only had to be made to the connecting piece between the battery pack and the switch unit. (Remove the connecting clip from the old original Velux battery pack and insert it into the new one and fix it with insulating tape).

Slightly smaller than the original Vélux battery (27 mm instead of 34 mm), but easy to recover and attach to the motor battery holder. Works perfectly after replacing the battery and charging for 2 days before finalising the installation.

The battery fits and works. I don't know whether I'll still be saying that in two years' time. You should know that this battery has no transport lock. It is therefore only attached to its cable, which is not a problem with a permanently installed roller shutter.

I was looking for new batteries for my solar roller shutters and my search landed on Subtil. 2 batteries in a pack are great for this price. The original would have been much more expensive. The batteries are a little bit smaller than the original but have more power... After ordering it took 2 days and they were already there. I installed them straight away and since then my roller shutters have been working as before. If the others break I will definitely order from here again. Clear purchase recommendation.
