The part was delivered in less than 24 hours and assembled in 3 minutes. Everything works with the 5 AH battery from Makita. At last I no longer need these Dyson batteries (the 3rd one was now gone); which can no longer be recharged after a certain period of time or no longer stink. Fits in the old holder even without the Makita battery. I have removed the old power supply unit and alienated its purpose. See how the Makita battery fares after a certain time.

Nach nicht einmal 24 Std. war das Teil geliefert und in 3 Minuten montiert. Alles funktioniert mit dem 5 AH Akku von Makita . Endlich brauch ich diese Dyson Akkus (Der 3. war jetzt hinüber);welche sich nach gewisser Zeit nicht mehr aufladen lassen oder abstinken nicht mehr. Passt auch ohne Makita Akku in die alte Halterung . Das alte Netzteil hab ich entfernt und Zweck entfremdet. Jederzeit wieder mal sehen wie es dem Makita Akku nach einer gewissen Zeit ergeht.

Works fine with my makita 5Ah batteries. I do notice that the Dyson V8 cuts out every 30sec or so but alsok starts again immediately, I suspect the 18V instead of 20V is in between for something of that
